Some street art i found hidden in Oslo

After a little research I have learned that both these are by the French stencil artist "C215" who is based out of Paris, France. As i continue to wander random streets in Oslo his work continues to catch my eye.He has basically become one of my new favorite artists.

First day!

Today I woke early. My jet lag had me up far before sun rise, so it took no time at all before to get into my daily routine and to get going with everything i had planned for the day! Unfortunately I miscalculated on one key factor; nothing in Norway is ever open on a Sunday. And so today became a day of relaxation. My day was spent reading, drawing, and researching possible destinations I might want to visit or places to stay as for one of my exchange programs. It turns out that today was just the kind of day I've needed for a long time. After a day of reading, a wonderful hike, doodle time, and a good beer I am in a perfect state of relaxation and I am ready for the busy day ahead of me.

Lift-off

One world slows to a halt as the next one begins.
Today I sit in the airport of Newark, NJ with a 14 hour delay and I have finally realized that a trip many years in the making has finally begun. For the past many hours I have been hanging out with a gay man named Cliff who has been very generous and very entertaining to talk to. Next I fly into Iceland, and then to Oslo. I have already begun to look into work opportunities and have also contacted many people on couch surfing. Needless to say I am ecstatic to finally be on my way, just a six more hours left in this airport and i I'm off my next destination. I will be arriving in Oslo tomorrow morning and I am beyond excited! Miss you all back home, but not enough to come back yet ;) cheers!
